Chequer Mead is a purpose-built theatre in East Grinstead, Sussex serving the South East and surrounding areas. The theatre is host to over 250 performances annually as well as private functions, meetings, classes and other events. If you require further information, please contact a member of our team.

The Vienna Festival Ballet returns to town on 15th May with their traditional and enchanting production of "The Sleeping Beauty", with two performances at 5pm and 8pm.
The classic fairy tale is set to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, and has stunning choreography as well as beautiful costumes, to portray the struggle between good and evil.
