Categories: Hot Stuff, Shows, Productions and Events

Happy St Patrick's Day!

We hope you are enjoyin the craic today, but dont let it stop there...The Essence of Ireland crew are rolling in to town tomorrow night for a huge production that celebrates everything Irish. You'd be a fool to miss it!

Set against the backdrop of Ireland, England and America in the 20th century and inspired by true events, Essence of Ireland tells a story of love, joy, happiness and heartache – a moving story told through music, song and dance that celebrates all things Irish.

This spectacular rollercoaster ride of emotion and nostalgia features original energetic, inspiring and infectious choreography along with popular Irish songs that will transport you direct to the emerald isle - classics as “Galway Girl”, “Tell Me Ma,” “Irish Rover”, “You Raise Me Up” “Song for Ireland”, “Danny Boy”, “Carrickfergus”, ''Ireland’s Call,” ‘Wild Rover’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, ‘Molly Mallone’, ‘Dirty Old Town’ and many more.

The show sold out when it was here last, four years ago, so don't miss out on your chance of tickets. Come and enjoy the craic!

Essence of Ireland is at Chequer Mead on Tuesday 18 March. Call the Box Office on 01342 302000 or book online at
