Cuisine Studio

The Pavilion is home to Cuisine Studio, our in house restaurant and coffee shop and to our theatre bar. By day, Cuisine Studio creates a buzzing atmosphere with diners coming far and wide to enjoy a wide selection of delicious meals, sandwiches, cakes and desserts.

Caterers to Chequer Mead for the past 10 years, Cuisine Studio is a family run business experienced in outside event catering and private dinner parties as well as running the successful restaurant in the Pavilion. Cuisine Studio are available for all your catering needs within the centre offering an excellent choice of options for family events, corporate functions and business meetings alike.

Open daily serving morning coffee, lunches with an all day lunch menu and daily specials, serving afternoon tea with homemade gateaux and pastries, as well as being open on selected show nights- look out for the Cuisine Studio logo next to events to see if the restaurant is open. In 2009, Cuisine Studio proudly won the "Delicious Dining" category for the "Best of East Grinstead" awards.

Proprietors, Roger and Mandy Newby trained at Westminster Catering College followed by years of experience at Harrods, Knightsbridge and Fortnum and Mason,Piccadilly.
