Blog: Chequer Mead's New Look!

Wednesday 26th November 2014 @ 8:20pm by Alex
Categories: Funny and Crazy Happenings, Hot Stuff

Since 1999, the cafe area in Chequer Mead has been home to the historical millennium boards dedicated to East Grinstead towns history.  Now fifteen years later, new images have been created with the help and generous support of all the artists who have graced our stage, as well as by the charitable sponsorship from local companies.

The original boards have been preserved under these amazing new images, and a book will be produced shortly featuring photographs of all the millennium boards.  This book will be available from Chequer Mead, the Library and East Grinstead Museum.

Please do pop into Chequer Mead, and see for yourself.
