Chequer Mead Friends
Chequer Mead Friends is a voluntary organisation of individuals that support the theatre by way of fundraising and promoting Chequer Mead as a valuable theatre and arts centre. The organisation arranges events, raffles and initiatives to continually raise funds for the charity.
Membership is open to all with a variety of membership options. Membership includes the following:

Membership costs just £10 a year, or £17 for a joint membership for 2 people.

Since founded, Chequer Mead Friends have raised over £65,000 for the theatre and have made an invaluable contribution to the facilities in the arts centre. These include

Whether you’re looking for an unusual gift or just want to commemorate all the enjoyable times you’ve had at Chequer Mead, sponsoring a seat in theatre costs just £75 for 3 years, or £150 for 10 years. You can choose your seat, which will carry a plaque acknowledging your support.
