After his beloved Globe Theatre burns down, he returns to his hometown of Stratford but is faced by his neglected family and their broken relationships that force him to admit his own failings as a husband and father.

Written by Ben Elton, the film stars long-term Shakepeare stalwart, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench and Ian McKellen.
