Categories: Shows, Productions and Events
Purple Zeppelin, who featured in the BBC TV documentary The Joy of the Guitar Riff, will be paying homage to two of the greatest rock bands of all time; Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, with their unique tribute show, performing for one night only on Saturday 8th September at 7:30pm at Chequer Mead Theatre.
Voted “Best Tribute Band” in both 2015 and 2012, Purple Zeppelin’s distinctive style received colossal praise from respected rock biographer, Chris Welch (who had seen both original bands at their peak and has written top-selling books on Led Zeppelin) wrote “…this highly entertaining and musically authentic tribute band dared to match the brilliance of the originators”.
With the show featuring over 30 classic rock songs from both bands, Purple Zeppelin uses the same stage costumes, guitars and equipment as the original bands!
