Chequer Mead is home to various fitness and dance classes, singing groups and theatre companies which are all listed here.

At the heart of Chequer Mead is our purpose built, 320 seat theatre which is fully equipped with a full range of modern supporting facilities. In addition to the main house, we have a range of multi-purpose spaces ideal for corporate meetings, rehearsals, private functions, classes and events. We can comfortably cater for any number of people between 10 and 320.

Meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month, from September through to early June.
Visiting speakers give displays at most meetings and the club also holds two auctions a year.
Visitors and guests are welcome at any meeting.
